I don’t know why , but one of the images I was working on was completely black and flattened into one layer when I turned on my computer today! I thought that it may because I somehow messed it up… but the preview icon is still the same. (The icon that you see when looking at your files… mine still shows the old image and shows the same amount of memory it used to take.) I tried placing it and also opening it w/ other programs, but every single one showed up black.

I think my problem may be because of defragmenting (Since I don’t really understand what that does…) or because I turned of the computer last night while photoshop was still on/closing. Does anybody know if my image is seriously gone now, or is it just acting up?

Never a good idea

Well, none of us know (AFAIK <g>), but we can suggest things. My suggestion is to try opening it in another software like Irfanview
