Hi everyone!

I’m a newbie to this newsgroup and was wondering if anyone can help me out.

I need to find a way to make text appear hazy. Let me give you a little background. I’m want to take the words "Purple Haze" and add an effect to the word "Haze" to make it appear hazy. Not the most creative idea in the world, but I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction for a tutorial or some advice. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
