In CS2 and an image with Adobe RGB 1998 applied I want to remove a blue cast from a jpg. This is a view of flowers in an earth bed which contains several gray stones. Using image/adjustment/levels I separately adjust the thresholds of the each colour channel then in the blue channel I adjust the mid slider until I perceive the cast has gone. This is not a simple as I thought as I’m constantly questioning my choice of where to leave the slider.
From what I have read it should have been possible to set each channel so that the stones had an RGB value of 128 but I don’t know how to do this. I have tried to use the midpoint sampler on the stones but the result is that the image turns strongly yellow. Tried zooming in on the stone but its still yellow.
Am I missing something?
