Hi,
sometimes I revert to PS 7 (running under Classic) to use some old plug in for a special effect, while I do the "real work" using Photoshop CS under OS X Panther. Of course you can save the PS 7 results and open them in CS – but copy and paste would be much faster – if it worked…
I recently encountered problems when I tried copying in PS 7 and pasting to PS CS. Obviously smaller amounts of pixels selected one or the other way made it right to CS but larger areas e.g. the complete pic (say 12" by 12", DIN A4 or more at 300dpi) would not make it even to the clipboard as it seems (as by "Paste" the previously copied smaller bunch of pixels was pasted again).
My G4 (Dual 1GHz) has 1.25GB RAM, which should be enough for those operations – at least I thought so…
Any ideas what to do?
