Copy backgroundcolor and paste to another place

Hello,

i’am using photoshop6. How can i copy the background from one place and paste or override the background at another place inside the same document.

If you mean copying from one part of the background layer to another part of the backgrouind layer, try the clone or rubber stamp tool (S) on the keyboard. There are other methods involving selections.
Always make a copy of this layer (in case of mishap) and work on the copy layer.

First double click on the background layer in the layers pallette to change it to a normal layer then do what you like with it
