Hi,
Sorry if this is not the right place to post this question.
I am using Photoshop 6 on a Macintosh and have the following problem:
I downloaded a number of images from a digital camera. When I open one in Photshop and look at the "Image Size" dialog, it tells me the following:
Pixel Dimensions:
Width: 3072 Pixels
Height: 2048 Pixels
Document Size:
Width: 42.667 Inches
Height: 28.444 Inches
Resolution: 72 Pixels/Inch
Which is not right, the DPI should be 300, which would give the correct Width/Height – 10.24 x 6.826 which is the correct size for the print.
If I try to change the DPI, Photoshop re-scales the image, so that I end up with a HUGH image but still at the wrong size.
My quesion is, How can I set the DPI so that I get the correct DPI and Width/Hight?
Many Thanks in Advance for Any Help
Regards
Harry
