Photoshop CS crashes!!

I am running Photoshop CS on a DP Mac G5. Several times when I have gone to another program with Photoshop open, and I try to go back to Photoshop, it crashes. I get the "unexpectedly quit error -600" message. After that, I cannot open Photoshop back up until I restart or log-out and log back in.

Has anyone had this problem?
