PS 7 sees preview, CS doesn’t

One of the features I like in PS7 is its ability to show a preview of a file that has been saved for web. PS6 doesn’t do it, just shows a jpeg icon. Why has this feature been dropped in CS?

Save for Web strips the preview because its function is to make the file as small as possible; the preview is not needed for the web at all. If you want to keep a preview, use Save As instead of Save for Web.
