I’m glad I’m not the only one. The suggestion to view in acrobat is only partially helpful. I’m sending this out to a number of people (many) and I can’t control what program they view it in. Is it a bug that can’t be fixed. Is there something I can do to the file in Acrobat Prof. (I have v7, not 8 ) to fix this?

I quit using the script until I know it is fixed…

It doesn’t make me look very professional when a client receives a file they can’t read, nor is it very professional to require the client to download a program they may not want

since Preview is the problem I would recommend the client use Reader and would provide a link to it. If the cliet wants to see the proof he will get reader.

We always encourage all clients/contacts/vendors to download the current version of Reader — you’d be surprised at some of the ancient software and resources some of these people use, mostly out of habit, or because they are intimidated by their computers.

Next, it’s getting clients to calibrate their monitors and properly profile their printers before they criticize color. <g>
