Hi everyone.

I tried to create an action of duplicating a layer to about 100 other open file images. It did not work due to the fact when you duplicate and are presented with where to duplicate the layer to, you must select the file that is open that you want to duplicate to.

What I want to do essentially is have a logo appear in the same spot in the lower right hand corner of all 100 images. I’m trying to cover a date stamp that was placed by the client’s digital camera.

Thanks,
Chris J. Popp

chris,
Have a look at the options in File>Automate>Batch
You set the action and the folder where you want the action to be applied and can override action open commands.

Chris,

Batch tutorials, the third one is very similar to what your are trying to achieve, except it inputs a watermark instead of a logo, a bit "wordy" though.

Show the client how to switch off his time and date stamp 8-), they are a PITA, the only place for these things are when used by Scene of Crime Officers. How anyone can think their shot of a life time can be improved with the time and date it was taken stuck on it, beggars belief. (no need for it anyway with digital cameras) I must admit though that the only time I have come across them the "photographer" didn’t know, a:) it COULD be turned off, b:) how TO turn it off.
