I did some tests with my Rebel XT shooting raw+jpg.
I found the raw had a lot of noise and the jpg very little. I can only assume that the in camera processing is quite good for jpg. It does an excellent job of sharpening, noise reduction and compression. I know the advantages of raw but am having a difficult time reducing the noise down to where the jpg is. I have the plugin for this camera in Photoshop. If anyone uses this plugin please let me know. I would also appreciate any input others might have about this.
Thanks
