Please, can anyone tell me the way to retousch a b/wh picture. Sometimes there are really many white spots on a black background or white spots on a black background. I once learned a way to "automate" this tool, but have forgotten it. Something with set lighten or darken and then burn the spots with a big cirkle (burn tool). Could have been in layers…? A very nice short-cut to retousch big areas.
Thanks

Heine

You might have good success with the freeware Polaroid Dust & Scratch Removal plug-in.

Thank you for the advice. I downloaded it and tried. And right it takes the dust. But it takes the highlights in the eyes as well.
Maybe I should have tested the plug in more – there are different settings.

So I´ll still ask if anyone know the Photoshop trick.

thanks

Why don’t you make a mask for the parts that you don’t want to "retouch"?

clone tool or healing tool.

If its not worth doing correctly its not worth doing it at all.
