Can anyone tell me how to change the color of the clone stamp tool? It is currently gray and it disappears almost completely when fixing B&W images. I’m using CS. TIA

I asked the same question a while back in Adobeforum to be told that the circle should be white on a black field and black on a white one and if I had trouble seeing it, I could always determine its position by extrapolating from the rulers, if turned on. If anyone knows different at least two of us would be pleased to hear about it.

I too knew about that, but it there should be a simpler solution. "Mike Hyndman" wrote in message On Sat, 30 Jul 2005 16:35:57 -0400, "sgfan3" wrote:

If you temporarily press the CTRL key, you will turn the cursor into the Move tool, which will aid in revealing its location.

Peadge 🙂

Yup! I know that one too, but that’s still a hassle. A contrasting color is still the best solution I can think of.

This shouldn’t be so hard to figure out. After all, some one (whoever wrote this part of the program) had to make the decision to color the stamp neutral (or gray). Is there a PS engineer lurking out there? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
