This issue really has me fooled.
I have Photoshop CS2 which I originally upgraded from CS.
The problem: Eraser tools does not erase / Brush tool does not brush.
When I try to erase a layer – pixels are not removed. I can use the selection tool and delete them, but the erase tools does not function. (It works just find on my other computers – it worked find under CS).
When I try to brush – no brush trail / stroke is left where I have brushed. This also worked fine under CS.
What I’ve tried:
1. Re-install
2. Remove and install
3. Remove – gut the directories and registry of the photoshop settings and then install.
It is really strange. I have Googled and Yahooed this issue along with searching hear and can’t find anything similar.
Does any one have any ideas as to what might be going on – other than having to reformat and reinstall?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Karl
