I’ve been seeing a problem in the last couple of weeks when printing from Photoshop CS on OS 10.3.4 to HP 5500PS utilizing the internal RIP. I can’t figure out what is causing the problem.
It doesn’t seem to matter what the image type is (jpg, pdf, psd (I have tried a variety of different files from customers)). When I hit print, it goes through the motions, gets to the printer to RIP, but when it is finished, it just shows a big white page. Place the same image in Illustrator and it prints just fine.
I have seen this on G4 Quicksilvers and our brand new G5s.
I have dumped the printer and reinstalled with no luck.
Has anyone else seen this?
