George, that would certainly be nice….but the only cropping available in Elements is rectangular….

Well, you could draw a circular or elliptical selection then do Select>Inverse and delete the part you don’t want.

Unfortunately, you still have a rectanular image but if you are posting it on the web, you can set the matte color on the "save for web" dialog box and your image will look round.

You have circular and elliptical marquee tools , so you ’emulate’ a crop the following way.

Select the area to crop using a circular or elliptical marquee tool.

CTRL-C (copy) CTRL-V (Paste) This places the selected pixels on a new layer. Now punch out the eyeball to the layer(s) below and voila!!
