My menu bar at the top of the window has disappeared in Elements running on OSX (in classic). Can’t access any of the controls to use or close the application. I start up with OS 9 and Elements works just fine.

What is up? And yes, I did re-install with no change.

Thanks!

Hmmm. Since it’s working properly in OS 9 but not X, when was the last time you repaired permissions? If it hasn’t been done for a while all kinds of weird things can happen. Why don’t you try that first. If it doesn’t clear the problem, repost and let us know.

Hi, Dick. The official answer for this is that you need to start Classic first, then launch PE. It never worked for me, but others say the menus come back that way.

Thanks, Folks,

It worked! Just starting classic first did the trick.
