A relative URL is just one that is based on the current page location. For instance, images/mypix.gif says that the image is located in a folder called images that is located in the same folder as the originating page.

A non-relative URL (more properly an absolute URL) is http://www.mysite.com/mypages/images/mxpix.gif.

You can type either into the url field area.

Don

(And you don’t want to know what I had to do to make that absolute URL not a link in the forum software.)

(To Glen … I finally put an italic on and then immediately an italic off code in the middle of the http.)
