How can I use the "eye dropper" tool to choose a "destination" color, in the Replace Color dialog?? I use it to select the "source" color, and even to add and subtract colors from the selection range; but do I really have to manually select the replacement color each time with the three sliders…??

Erin, I think that’s your only choice with Replace Color. An alternative is to select the area of color you want to change using the Magic Wand tool, then add a Color fill layer and change its blending mode to color. Then you’ll have the ability to change the color using the eyedropper tool with the color picker.

and postcript to previous message: with a Color Fill layer, you can change the color again and again until you get it just the way you want it.
