Photoshop & Illustrator trouble

When i try to save a Large Photoshop or Illustator file, and reopen the file i get a corupt file

I can bypass the proublem in Illustrator by saving as 8.0 but there is no way around the trouble in Photoshop but moving to a slower mac running on OS9

I have a G5 2Ghz
with 2 Gb ram
running Os X 10.3

Big is above 100 mb

Photoshop 7

Illustrator 10 & Cs

I hoped that this would b fixed in Cs but it didnt

Bad hard drive comes to mind.

how many images would he have??? jeez!!
unless he has like 100 pages in illustrator he’s doing something wrong from the start

It was a Dimm module that was corupt

I just dont get it why the problem did not happen in a Illustrator 8
