I have a file with my signature that I use as an overlay on my photos before printing. I want to pad the sides of the signature and then use "snap" to place it at the bottom right of the photo image, with the padding placing the sig inside where matting will lay over the edges of the photo when the photo is matted and framed.
I enlarged the signature file’s canvas size the right amount, but when I drag the layer onto my photo only the unpadded original "size" of the signature is copied and when I snap that layer into place the padding is ignored because it isn’t there.
When I view the signature file the text is surrounded by a box with transform handles. I can’t get the transform handles to go away. I think this is why when I drag the layer I get just this portion of the file, not the entire file.
Help!
Thanks,
jc
