Have been running 7.01 since it came out – no problems – suddenly get start-up error message saying could not initialize photoshop because there is not enough memory(ram)’. Searched support for help but no solution
System : win 2000 Pro 512 mb memory 1.4 GHz AMD athlon. Matrox G550 card. I have only one hard drive so, am running Win200 and photoshop off same drive – it shows 16.7 Gb free disc space out of 38Gb. Both 6 and CS load and run ok – Would appreciate any help please because I prefer 7 to CS.

i’d also clean out some hard drive space on your scratch drive before it happens again.
