hi…. i am a new mobile application developer… and i am using adobe photoshop CS to create images for my mobile phones… and i am currently having problems with creating a .png files with transparent bg… and then if i uploaded to the phone itself the picture would not load probably.. or not even show at all… but if i put a colour bg behind the images and upload it, it will appear nicely… but that is not wat i want.. does any one can help me with that?

Try searching the forum for "png transparency". You will find a load of threads on this.

Are you testing in Internet Explorer? It does not support transparency in PNG. You need to use Gif.

It sounds like the phone just doesn’t support PNG transparency.
