PhotoshopCS : backup disc. Advice wanted.

I can’t make a backup copy of the above disc.
Iff my original gets lost or damaged how much will a replacement be? Anyone any experience of this?

Why can’t you? Please give some details…error messgaes/program used to copy etc. I have no problem doing this.
