Rather than using Nikon Capture to process my Nikon (D-100) files, I am trying to use the ACR (3.1) for them. However, I have only 2 properties that I can adjust: Color (selecting from a drop down) or the exposure. With Canon raw files, there are many more properties.

What am I missing?

Todd,

More than likely you still have the Nikon plugin luring in your Format folder. Verify this in Photoshop with Help>About Plugin, and nuke the Nikon plugin.

If you are using a PC, go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\Adobe Photoshop Only\File Formats and delete the Nikon files. If you have a PS version other than CS2, the folder names in the path might be slightly different. Everytime you install or update Nikon software, you will have to go back there and delete the Nikon files.

Many thanks…I did not look in the PhotoShop Only folder. All is now fine!
