Photoshop CS headaches and possible bugs?

Hello all. I am new to Photoshop CS but not Photoshop in general. I just upgraded. None of the hot keys are working. Such as select all (ctr a) cut copy paste etc etc etc. I have to go to the menus to do this! Help???? What am I doing wrong?

do you have the activation crack installed? if so uninstall that and activate. if not, update your keyboard drivers.
