Now able to move the "0" point of the ruler to wherever I like, is there any way to tell the program to remember this info next time I open the file? When I close and re-open the file, the "0" position is back at the very 1st pixel of the document like I reset it.

Using PS7 on WinXP.

Search Help for "Customizing your workspace." I’ll let you experiment with whether or not it saves your new origin for 0, JJ.
To save the current workspace layout:

1.. Choose Window > Workspace > Save Workspace.
2.. Enter a name for the workspace, and click OK.
To choose a workspace:

Choose Window > Workspace, and choose a workspace from the submenu.
