Hi,
Does anyone know how to keep the RAW images files
from being rotated back to a horizantal when the
images are moved to a new folder? I spend all this time
getting them upright only to have the lot return to the camera default when I move them.

Thanks,

Peter

Are you rotating them in the CS browser? I think all that does is show the preview as rotated until you use ‘Edit – Apply Rotation" in the browser. (If that’s not what you are referring to – sorry.)

Yup

1 – rotate the file

2 – then Save As with an r appended to file name

3 – (preferably at a maximal JPEG setting)

Okay – it doubles the image but at least it will be invariant over transfers different image browsers and the like
