I’ve got some digital photos which appear to have the blurred shadow of a speck of dirt on the lens. In Photoshop the HSB values show the brightness of the shadow down about 10-15% and the saturation up compared with the surroundings. I’d like to retouch the picture to eliminate this blemish.
I’ve experimented with creating a blurred spot on a black background and mixing this in as a screened layer, which works approximately. Is there a better way to do this?
Thanks
