I have recently got an Iiyama ProLite E431S LCD monitor and an Epson Stylus Photo 950 printer and I am trying to calibrate them so I can print my photo’s from Photoshop 7. (I use Windows XP Home if it matters).
Starting with the monitor, I have selected sRGB from the on-screen menu and the Colour Profile is PLE431 (I think this is the default for this monitor). I have heard that Adobe Gamma is for CRT monitors, but is it still worth using or not? If not, is there an alternative or something else that I should use?
As for the printer, the Colour Management (on the Properties dialog) is set to Automatic with the profile called EE173__1. In the Printing Preferences, the Colour Management is set to sRGB.
Is there anything else I should do?
