hi,
i have a photo which is 768x1024jpg and i want to convert it to a 120x120bmp.
so far i’ve used 3 proggies (acdsee, irfanview, and Paint) just to get it to a stage where it is recognised as a .bmp, what a hassle it was too. i’ve also got it at 120×120 using Paint, (acdsee did the jpg to bmp converting) but i cant see anything.
I am trying to use it to place on the General Tab when viewing Device Manager. I can get it there via naming OEMLogo.bmp and placing it in my windows/systems folder but it just shows up as a black rectangle, if you get my meaning.
Hope one of you ppl can assist. Maybe its just not possible to take the pixels down that low and expect it to be viewable. I have seen someone elses efforts and it worked but i cant contact him.
help appreciated
regards Jane
