Someone asked about straightening a picture in PhotoShop. With CS2, you can use the crop tool, then take the crop tool cursor outside the picture. You get a little double arrow that lets you rotate the photo.

If you want a *really* accurate rotation (instead of doing it by eye) use the measure tool (docked with the eyedropper tools for some bizarre reason!). Provided you have an identifiable horizon line (ie a horizontal line you know should be level) then use the measure tool to trace along the line (the longer you can make your measurement the better.) Then go to Rotate Canvas and choose Arbitrary, examine the pop up box you get (usually no alterations are needed) and accept. Your image will be rotated so that your chosen line is perfectly level – but you will now need to crop the image.
