PS – NEF – RAW – ARGH!

Hi everyone,

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction…

Client has sent Nikon 5700 NEF RAW format images.

I have PhotoShop 7.01. I installed Camera RAW. I used Nikon’s own View
5.0, which also required QT5.0.

But PhotoShop can preview the image with the Nikon NEF filter working automatically, but it won’t open the actual image into a PhotoShop window.

Help! Please reply here.

If you have installed nikon view 5, you should be able to just start photoshop & open the nef image from photoshop directly. This will then bring up a basic RAW conversion tool (even without camera raw)
