Bullet paragraph formating

Just beginning to use Photoshop. Is there a way to format text in a paragraph that adds bullets and indents? I tried to use a special character font for the bullets but the special characters in the font do not display so there is no way to pick a bullet. I’m probably missing something simple.

You can enter a Bullet using Alt-0149 on the numeric keypad of your keyboard. You can enter spaces between it and your text, and you can format the paragraph text using the paragraph tab of the Text Palette in the options bar.
