photoshop pointer problems

have been having a problem where the pointer in photoshop stops workin. like i will go into a window but instead of transforming into the tool, its just stays the normal mouse pointer, anone else have this prob, i need help its fristrating. i have to restart it to get it to work, and then eventually it happens again. dunno whats causin it.

Sounds like a video driver issue. Turn hardware acceleration down to zero and see if it goes away. If it does, check for updated drivers.
