Adobe CS upgrade 2.4 problems

I am doing something incorrectly. This is what I’ve done –
1. moved the old raw.bbi to my old plug-in folder
2. downloaded the 2.4 update
3. extracted the files
4. moved the 2.4 bbi to the Adobe photoshop plug-in file format directory
5. reopened CS

When I open a Nikon NEF file it opens in ‘regular’ photoshop, not the raw processor view. I’m lost. Can anybody help?

Did you remove the Nikon plugins as explained in the ACR forum FAQ?

Oh, Chris, thank you. I followed the instructions for the download but didn’t see anything about removing the Nikon bbi. This was driving me crazy – thanks a lot.
