Yesterday I used text in photoshop; it was smooth. Today I create some text using the same font and drop shadow properties that I used yesterday, however it is now jagged. I’ve tried closing and reopening Photoshop, and restarting, but it didn’t solve the problem. How can I make my text smooth again?

See what I’m talking about:

Matt,

Check wether Anti-Alias is on or off.

In the Text tool properties at the top, set your anti-aliasing method to sharp, crisp, strong, smooth (experiement – a matter of preference). It looks like you have the anti-aliasing method set to "none".

Really, that long? And they say Rome wasn’t built in a day. Fiddle sticks I say. Fiddle sticks.

Don’t ask me what that last part means. My fingers are typing but my brain isn’t reading… 😀

"That’s a lousy excuse" my girlfriend would say.

Don’t ask me what "Fiddle Sticks" mean. I’d say the bows for violins (or viola’s or violoncelli or just bowing for the orchestra)
Never mind, I have to live with that.
