PS CS is slow when i open it..why?

Well i just install PS CS on my pc just few days ago.And i find it took me a long time to open it for to use.It took me about several minutes just to load up the software.I find it that it took very longer time to scan the plug in before load up.I was using XP os.But it work ok when i open up PS 7 before.Can anyone help me with this .Thank you in advance.And also i find it sometime have error saying that file PDF50.DLL was not found too.

Ya, I had been encountering the same problem as u. Before installing Adobe CS, i was using Photoshop 5.5 & Illustrator 8.0. Everything was pretty fast. But after installing Adobe CS, its slowing down my system (Window Professional XP) every single action i applied in Photoshop 8.0 seems to take ages and definitely slowing my work process. = (

What 3rd party plugins do you have installed?
