(1.)I thought I read you could only activate this product x amount of times. What happens if you are the type pf person that takes his computer down to scratch every 3 to 6 months?

(2.)Can I upgrade from version 4?

1 Every 3-6 months shouldn’t present a problem

2 Yes, but you might need to call for some assistance. Make sure you have 4.0 CD and serial number handy.
