digital images comes with all different numbers as IMG_0093.JPG…….. is there a way to rename digital images as ( im01.jpg, im02.jpg, im03.jpg and so on)?
or renaming the folder with images in it?

Of course. See Help Automate and if you have CS, then Help Browser (or just fire up CS browser).

Windows XP will do this for you…

Highlight all the files you want to rename….then rename the 1st one im0.jpg and hit enter. You will have im0.jg, im01.jpg, im02.jpg etc…

There are a lot of file managers that will help you do so in bulk, easily.

However, this really isn’t the best idea. Name collision is almost certain to happen, probably often.

For the records there is a rather neat and nifty Microsoft PowerToy

It resizes images using the same right-click menu (it appends Resize Image(s) to the pop-up menu)
