Can someone please help me learn how to blend one photo into another smoothly. I’m thinking that one photo will use a gradation into another ands also a transparency. HELP

The best is to place each picture on a layer, apply a layer mask on the top one,(the second icon in the layers palette), and use a black to white gradient as a mask to blend it to the other picture.
