CS4 closes after about 5 minutes

When I run CS4, after about 5 minutes ( of non-use), it closes automatically. It was working fine until last night. Any suggestions as to what is causing this? I have Windows XP Home Edition.

Some security setting in your system, most likely. Perhaps you have enabled some option in your firewall or your "Services" panel to terminate after a given time. If so, these events should be visible in your Event Log security section. You may simply need to create an exception for Photoshop and the Adobe Licensing Service. Likewise, check any virus scanner and protection tools you may be running. They may also kill off "suspicious" idle processes…
