I have seen printed images of people’s names, drawn in what I would call "Ribbon Candy" type font (I don’t know if there’s a proper industry name for it)

Anyone know how to do it? (Photoshop 6 and Windows XP)

If you can think of ribbon candy (wave-type ribbons of sugar candy with alternating bands of coloring, front to back) and imagine 3D-like text being drawn on a black background, spelling out a person’s name.

Wish I could upload a sample photo …

thanks

john

Found the font for free.

Also a very helpful tutorial at:

Came out pretty jaggy ’til I realized I was at 150 dpi…

Went to 1200 dpi, and it’s perfect!
