Missing Tools

I am about to cry. I cannot find the Elliptical Marquee tool or the Eraser anywhere! I tried reseting my preferences and tool presets and still can’t find them!

Please help!!

anwhere you see an arrow in the upper right of the tool bar, there are other tools under that tool that’s shown. click and hold to reveal.

or you can use the shortcuts. shift-m (or just m depending on your prefrences) will cycle the marquee tools. shift-e (or just e) will cycle the tools in the eraser family.

the manual and the help file (f1) are also great places to look for this kind of stuff.

Elliptical Marquee tool – top left "under" the rectangular Marquee tool

Eraser – six below that.
