I’ve recently noticed small holes appearing in layers after I have used the Transform/Warp tool. The holes a usually only 1 pixel wide and the images are quite large. (25" high at 300 dpi)
Is this something anyone else has encountered?

Yes; encountered it with warped smart-objects but have no insights or remedies to offer. So no actual help here.

OK thanks, good to know its not anything more serious than a glitch. Actually while I’m here, when using the negative polygon lasso to cut away from a selected area my cross hairs dissapear when the alt key is held down within the selected area. Works fine when adding to selected area. Is this another programming error?

This occurs with all the Selection tools IIRC. It’s a bug, and has not been corrected (yet?) in CS3.
