I’m running Windows XP. Downloaded the program, used the extractor. First two times it freezes. I finally extract and open the installer. On the system check it says that internet explorer is still running. It’s not, so after making sure that it is not running, I close the installer and restart my computer. I try to reextract the files and redo the installer, but it says that I’m already installing an Adobe program. The uninstall isn’t working, probably because I haven’t even installed the program yet.
I come here and find the manual uninstall CS2 and CS3 beta pages. So I systematically remove a wealth of files and retry it. Now, the "there are other Adobe programs installing" error is gone, but nothing pops up. At all. What is going on?
