Help. My vivid and colorful slides are scanning a dark sepia color on my PC. What can I do to get a true color?

Janice,
What scanner are you using ? It sounds like you need to change settings in the scanner software, since Elements simply accepts the image that is sent by the scanner. It’s easier to get good results from a good scan, than by trying to correct a bad scan <G> . Someone may have the same scanner, and be able to help with settings. Perhaps you’re scanning as a print but you should be scanning as a transparency .
