In PS CS4, when I crop a photo using my cursor to set the crop, the cursor moves the crop lines in jerky fashion.

The lines jump at least a millimeter with each move, no matter how carefully I move the cursor.

How can I set it to finer movement of the crop lines?

MacPro Quad 3GB 8 megs RAM.

Thanks

Have you tried holding down Command?

Have you got "Snap to …" anything activated?

Pressing the Command key will also temporarily stop snapping.

Just did.

Holding the command button doesn’t help, when I am moving the bottom crop line upwards from the bottom of the window, using the cursor on the center of the line. When it moves away from the bottom, the line first doesn’t move and then jumps up about a mm or slightly more on my Mac 30“ monitor.

There should be another solution to achieve finer movement of the crop lines.

Thanks for the try,

Mark

Hi, Eureka,

I unchecked ”snap“ in the pull down view menu.

That did it.

Thanks for the clue.

Actually, it’s Control that temporarily disables snap, not Command…
