Why not just do a simple "rollover" so that mousing over changes the Robin to Havoc?

Just so you know, Robin, I don’t see what you’re talking about. I see no name show up, or anything else except overall highlighting. Maybe it only works for standard Windows-highlighting color? Could be there are many other people who won’t see what you’re trying to show, either.

Click the thumbnail below to see the full-sized version of what appears in my browser window when I do a "Command + A" ("Select All" on Mac, same as "CTRL + A" under Windows).

You have to use IE to see the effect. Robin left that out of the instructions. The image posted came from this site:

You have to try Dutch wine to know what automotive coolant tastes like!

I wouldn’t hate IE so much if it wasn’t full of security holes (still) and if it didn’t rely on so much non-W3C compliant, MS-proprietary code, and if somehow its sheer 800-pound gorillaness didn’t make people think it was the only gorilla in the forest.

Running Elements 3.0 (came with Wacom tablet) with Vista. With 160GB and 2Gb of memory. Problem: Everytime I use a tool on the image, many multicolor stripes (horizontal and vertical) appear that have nothing to do with what I’m trying to do in Edit mode!!!. Tried to re-install, same problem. Tried to Update to 3.01(?) but displays an error message, does not take the update. Otherwise, runs OK (?).Somebody has an answer?. Thanks in advence.Bruno

Bruno, you have posted in the Photoshop Windows forum, but your question pertains to a different software package, Photoshop Elements. You would be better off in the Elements forum, here <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.eeb4f8b/>. Also, it is not polite to hijack another person’s help request with your own, unrelated request — and this is unlikely to get you much assistance. You really should review existing posts in the appropriate forum and then, if you don’t find a solution, either jump into an existing topic that is related to your issue or create a new topic.

That being said, you are attempting to use an older version of Elements in a very new OS, which may not fully support your program. Also, you may need to update your Wacom driver and your video driver.
