This has happened to me a couple times, but has gone away on its own, which isn’t happening now. I use Photoshop CS2 for Windows, and I’m working in a .psd file.

When I selected the text tool, the flashing bar showed up where I clicked like normal, but the size of the text is somewhere around 65pt. I tried shutting down Photoshop, shutting down my computer, and the only way I can get my text around 12 pt. size, I have it selected at 2.5 pt. The problem doesn’t change for fonts, anti-aliasing method, and I’m not sure what else I can try to help.

Any suggestions? Is it a setting that got changed, or a glitch?

Thanks, Jess

Jess,

This is probably caused by an extremely high doc resolution. Check to see if that’s around 200 or 300 ppi or so.

Also check the zoom magnification at which you view the document.

If that doesn’t help, reset the preferences (forum FAQ).
